How the workflow operates

Overdue items appear in the librarian's dashboard, and reminders can be sent through the communication module. The headmaster can view the library's full collection and usage at any time.

Books can be issued by searching the title or a catalogue number. Barcode scanning integration depends on the hardware available at your school and can be configured for schools that have barcode readers.
Can we track textbooks issued to students at the start of term?
Yes. Term-based textbook distribution — where students borrow a set of books for the full term — can be tracked the same way as individual library loans.
What happens when a book is reported lost?
The librarian marks the copy as lost in the system. This removes it from the available count and creates a record against the borrower's profile for the school to apply its replacement or fine policy.
Can students search the library catalogue themselves?
Students with portal access can search the catalogue to check whether a book is available, allowing them to plan their library visits rather than discovering a title is checked out when they arrive.
